SANDHAN VALLEY TREK : Completely descending the valley of Shadows !!

About the Tour :
Sandhan valley is one of the greatest canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Nagar district, near the famous fort Ratangad, Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Suspense. Walking through the narrow streak of valley with 300 ft rock walls on both the sides is a lifetime experience. Descending full Sandhan valley is always a memorable outing and the overnight stay under the sparkling sky, along the reservoir side, is a sweet cherry on the cake!!

Disclaimer* :
1. First Time Trekkers are not advisable to join the Sandhan Valley FULL DESCEND TREK.
2. As it is the hardcore trek and not camping, we are staying the open place and not tents.

Itinerary :
Day 1 :
Overnight journey towards Samrad village by last local train from CSTM to Kasara (12:10 am)
Proceed to Samrad By Private Jeep. Early morning arrival at Samrad, freshen up and breakfast. By 7:00 am, proceed to Sandhan Valley Trek. Experience the thrill of the trek in the valley. Have Lunch And Start rappelling activity and descend the further part. Reach the stay point by evening. Have dinner. Overnight Stay in Open At the Same Point.

Day 2 :
Freshen up. Post breakfast, proceed towards Dehne village, Asangoan. Have lunch at Dehne village and proceed to Asangoan by Public Transport. Catch local train by evening to Mumbai/Pune

Tour Concludes with Happy Memories 😀

Note :
There is very basic freshen up / washroom facility at the top.There is only one toilet at the base village.
Avoid carrying heavy weight for the trek.
Floaters and Sandals are not allowed, please wear good grip sport shoes or trekking shoes of good quality


TREK TO KALSUBAI PEAK : HIGHEST PEAK OF MAHARASHTRA

About the Tour :

Kalsubai Peak is the Highest Peak of the Sahyadris (1646M) in the Akole Taluka of Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra. Kalsubai Temple is Located at the Topmost peak of Sahyadri Mountain Range Of Maharashtra. To reach the summit there are various trekking routes and animal tracks. The main route starts from the village of Bari which is about six km from Bhandardara. To reach Bari, one has to travel to Igatpuri on the Mumbai Nasik route.
Disclaimer* :
There are no sheds on the top of the Peak. The mornings at Kalsubai Peak are extremely chilling. Have the mindset of it and carry the warm clothes.

ITINERARY :
Reach Kasara and proceed towards the Bari Village by private transportation. Freshen up and have breakfast. Post briefing and introduction session, starts ascending the Kalsubai. Reach at the top. Explore the surrounding.

Start descending the peak. Reach at the base village. Have lunch and proceed back to Kasara.

Tour Concludes with Happy memories. 😀
